How to register a company in Bulgaria?

The most common commercial entities in Bulgaria are limited liability companies, which can be EOOD (sole proprietorship) and OOD (partnership).

In order to incorporate EOOD or OOD just follow the steps:

1) Apply in a Bank to open a special account where the capital shall be transferred;

2) Visit a notary office to certify the manager's signature;

3) Submit the set of documents to the Commercial Register.

You will have your company incorporated within 2-3 days. Once you have your company's number (UID or ЕИК) you could operate via Revolut or similar bank account which means that you need to go back to the Bank and close the special account or to transform the special account into ordinary bank account and get BG IBAN.
